Well, we have moved a few steps along in this crazy process. We have sold a lot of our stuff and we are now debt free except for Mike's jeep and my student loans. :/ We also have the house and aren't sure if we'll rent it or sell it. The realtor says we'll be fine either way.
We had our medical out-processing today for our medical clearance, and I'll be honest, I'm not really sure how it went. All the doctors and everyone signed off on it, and then we found out it still had to go to the commander. It's my understanding that he still has final authority. If he signs it, we're done and moving on to the next step, TMO (packing and moving). If not, it goes to our receiving base, they review our medical records and then they sign it, send it back, and THEN we're ready to go. Either way we don't foresee any issues. Also, filled out paperwork for the girls passports today, appointment on Thursday. So exciting.
So the next few months will be a whirl wind of activity. Continue going through the stuff in the house, paint and fix any issues in the house, visit Mike's family in Florida, travel with Mike to an additional 10-day training he may have in Mississippi, hang out with my family visiting, ship Mike's Jeep, and then be ready to go mid October.
